I was walking in the mall while doing errands and I was reminded that the way we carry ourselves affect the way others behave towards us. I clearly remember a moment when I was a teenager handing out certificates and shaking hands with the winners of our sports tournament. I wasn’t in the mood to mingle. I was a teenager but that wasn’t an excuse to behave like an asshole. Don’t get me wrong. I was still kind and respectful with the people around me. It was my posture or the way I presented myself to the public. I was supposed to be proud of the activity we did and it was successful. The way I behaved was an insult to the team I was working with as well as to the athletes who joined the games.
